Using certificate to login to AKSF support site
1. The URL for the support site is https://support.aksf.org .
2. Installation of the certificate
If you have not installed the certificate yet, download it ("Acquire certificate") and have your password at hand.
If you use Firefox, you have to install it directly in the browser (go to Settings > Data & Security > scroll down to Show Certificates > in
the tab My Certificates, click Import on the bottom and follow the instructions)
For any other browser, double-click the certificate file and follow the instructions.
3. Cache/browser history
Browsers save old information (they also save when some login fails and keep this decision), which could be the reason for errors. You have to delete this information by doing the following:
In Google Chrome, enter support.aksf.org, directly left of the address field, there is a lock symbol. Click on it, then click on "cookies", mark "support.aksf.org" (it's probably already marked), and click delete. Try again to log in.
In Firefox this can work similarly (depending on the system, the symbol might be a bit different) or: go to Settings > Data & Security > scroll down to Show Certificates > in the tab Authentification Decisions, click on the KSF certificate in the list and then Delete (you only delete the "decision" that this certificate is taken, not the certificate itself).
If you try to do certificate login and get an error (usually Error 403), then the certificate may not have been installed correctly. Go to Settings in your browser, then Data & Security, then Certificates, and then Import and install the certificate here.
4. PIN
The default PIN is 0000 (four zeroes). It is recommended that the PIN is changed after the first successful login.
5. Different browsers
Most modern browsers are suitable; however, there is a subtle difference in how certificates are handled by certain browsers. Chrome browser seems a very reliable option for all operating systems, but this is not a requirement at all.
